We're like blind people if we don't have awareness, we know that there is something but don't know what; Sati/awareness: knowing what's going on at every moment in our life; “No matter how many years we practice, without sati, we won't go further”; “We always fall in the same trap, but we would have sati, we would see, we would understand”; “Why do we constantly want to see faults in others?”; We have to see our thoughts and our intentions before and even what triggers an intention; Beautification: we always put effort to beautify the outside (house, body) but the inside stays as ugly as before.
