Dealing with difficulties: we go around and change teachers but we should just go through, all that's needed is sati-panna; Sati: avijja doesn't want us to know what's going on, so we need sati to see; Asubha: “After 6 years of practice in Europe, I had to start anew here, because nobody is really teaching asubha in the west, how to get rid of the root of greed and hatred”; Kilesas: the kilesas want the easy way and to avoid difficulties, but there is no easy way out, better to go straight through.
